Satyrs are a demigod's best friend. They are known for guiding demigods to the safety of Camp Half-Blood and accompanying them on quests. They're distinguishable around camp by the horns that protrude from their head, elven ears, and their lower furry half. From their legs down, they are fully goat! From their little tail to their sparkling hooves, these features make them quick and nimble on their feet. They can be easily disguised from mortals with a cap, pants, and shoes.

These nature spirits aren't only known for fetching demigods, but also for their musical skills and ties with the Earth. Their knowledge of plants and instruments is enough to help a wounded demigod or play a tune or two to bend nature to their will. Just maybe don't attempt a rendition of "YMCA" on the reed pipes...

The spilling of Ouranos' blood on fertile ground gifted us with nature spirits such as satyrs and nymphs. Satyrs were known as 'minor gods' in Greek mythology, who never died. When they grew weaker, they would rejoin the Earth as a plant.

Before Pan's disappearance, Satyrs spent most of their time searching for the god. These searchers were specially chosen by the Council of Cloven Elders. It was a privilege to be gifted a Searcher's License and a dishonor to lose it. These members also decided if a satyr's quest or demigod retrieval has been served successfully. They have the power to exile satyrs from Camp Half-Blood, but are rumored to be a rather cowardly bunch.
