Description of
If you are a man and, whilst adrift in a sea of monsters, happen upon an island that houses a luxurious spa resort, you should make a swift getaway before this immortal daughter of Hecate finds you.
The entire resort is lined with white marble; the blue water shimmers as if the entire world’s supply of glitter had been tipped into it. On every level of the resort there are pools, all interconnected by water slides, waterfalls and underwater tunnels.
And the fountains are particularly majestic. They form figures that are actually considered impossible, such as galloping horses or flying eagles.
It seems as if the resort is a perfect paradise. The animals are tame and lie relaxed in the sun (yes, even leopards!) and on the other level, luxurious furniture and large, light-filled rooms create an unreal atmosphere.
Mirrors make the rooms seem endless. One mirror shows visitors their “perfect appearance” to prepare them for transformations. Men are particularly affected by this.
However, one must not be deceived by this beauty. Something bad is lurking in the dark for the men.
The island is particularly dangerous for men, as Circe lures them there mainly to turn them into guinea pigs. In ancient times, men were turned into pigs.
For others, however, the spa could also be a source of knowledge. It boasts an extensive library containing knowledge spanning several millennia, as well as magical elements.
You can meet many staff members on the island, such as Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano and Hylla. The two look after visitors and assist Circe. The resort is subsequently ravaged and then destroyed following the pirates’ liberation.
