Today we'll be covering the Chimera, the Centaur, and Cerberus! Let's dive in!

It also sometimes has dragon wings, though those portrayals are rarer. The Chimera's mother is a being named Echidna, who is mentioned briefly in Percy Jackson while they're at the Hoover Dam. In writings, the Chimera is also sometimes given three heads, instead of just one goat head. The Chimera is also in lesser known fables, one of which, the Cumaean Sibyl sees it in an vision, and urges people to establish harmony, lest they summon the Chimera. However, the original Chimera was originally killed by Bellerophon.

He's the child of Echidna and Typhon, and while modern versions have him as a normal dog with three heads, older records gave him a snake for a tail, and serpents coming out from everywhere on his body. Some other records of Cerberus also give him other numbers of heads, sometimes up to one hundred heads. While Cerberus is well known, one of his only mythologies is the Twelfth labor of Heracles, where he was captured.
