Well now that you've had the debrief on some of the classes that you can take and participate in at Camp Half-blood, it seems only fitting that the next thing we dicuss is the grub! So on that note, let's talk about FOOD!
As I mentioned in a previous article, the food here at Camp Half-Blood is served by dryads in the dining pavilion.
Before we can tuck in to our wonderful meals however, we do have to burn some of our their best food in the fire.... sounds horrifying to have to burn a perfectly good slice of apple pie i know, but we do it as an offering to our godly parents. Although i would personally prefer if I could burn all the sandwich crusts and brussel sprouts instead.

Now let's talk menu! There is always a fantastic feast and the most glorious spread on offer with a delicious menu of food and drinks available. You can request almost any food you like to eat and campers are also offered a selection of staples such as grapes and strawberries, bread, cheese and barbecue are often on offer.

This IS Camp Half Blood after all, so of course there are a cool few perks when you eat in the dining pavilion.
My favorite perk has GOT to be the magical goblets that have the ability to provide you with absolutely ANY drink that you can think of (none alcoholic of course!) Yes you heard me right, campers can even go as far as to customize their drinks! For example, the legendary Percy Jackson himself invested a drink that became known as "Blue Cherry Coke."
There are also some other cool demigod places around here to eat at and to shop for your favorite goodies and treats at. I personally love shopping at the candy store "Sweet on America." I have to admit i am definitely guilty of spending way too much of my pocket money on skittles and oreos, chocolate and gummy bears they sell there. Oops... What can I say? I have a sweet tooth. I also love having coffee with friends at the Cozy Café too.
I asked a few other campers to tell me what their favorite food and treats are and where they like to shop for them. This is what they had to say.

"So my favourite food is Millionaire's Shortbread, and it's from The Cozy Café. Also that is my favoruite place to shop for food, as you can get interesting stuff there!" - Chase Bolton (a son of Ares)

"My favorite food when I was at camp. Hm. Let me think. It would probably be s'mores they taste amazing. And my favorite store would be The Cozy Café." - Desdemona Le DuPont (a daughter of Poseidon)

"My favourite food is the croissants and I love to shope in the Cozy Cafe!" - Yumiko Takaki. (a daughter of Hebe)

"My favorite food is Pickles and Jars of Pickles! My Favorite Place to Shop For Food is the Pan Place Market where I can get candy for Wynter and Renna!" - William Rosvienne (a son of Demeter)

"I love buying Imam Bayildi and I think that's in Gaias Gyros... btw my all time favourite shop to buy the doves some meals!" - Leanna Crenshaw (a daughter of Apollo)

"I love to eat healthy! My favorite food is apples and I love to shop at Rainbow Organic Food!" - Rory Van Der Vuur (a daughter of Zeus)
