Greetings Mortals. If this letter has found its way into your hands, it has once again successfully been delivered outside of the camp borders.
This is Magical Mythology
with Ebony Hance
Hello there and welcome to "Magical Mythology".
Your one stop blog with all the necessary facts, quizzes and lore you need, to scratch that Percy Jackson itch! If you love Percy Jackson and are passionate about Greek mythology, you've come to the right place! Well now that you've know what you can expect on the camp menu and all the cool places that you can shop for daily sustenance and sweet treats at, It seems only logical that the next thing we dicuss is....
The campers themselves!
Now look, the godly folk themselves don't grace us with their presence or anything, BUT there are a lot of awesome people who help to run camp or attend it as a camper.
From Chiron and Dionysus himself, to the legendary Perceus and his namesake Percy Jackson, to fawns, nymphs and halfbloods alike, camp if full of many interesting beings. Our history is woven into the lives of Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Hades and Aphrodite amongst other godly folk and we face countless monsters such as hellhounds, furies, Chimera and even the great Medusa herself. We even have some mythical creatures like Pegasus to get to know.
With all these awesome people as a part of our history and every day lives, it's only natural to have a million different questions swarming through your mind that you are just ITCHING to ask them!
For example, i would love to ask my dad if he hangs up his lightning bolt before he takes a nap. Or ask my uncle Poseidon how far he could throw his trident if he tossed it like a javelin! OOOH or what about asking Aphrodite if she's ever considered starting up a makeup brand and selling long lasting lipstick! What about asking a Pegasus What they dream about? Or asking a hellhound what their favorite thing to do is? Or remember that demigod ypu know who is clearly fond of someone but just doesn't quite have the nerve to ask them out? Haven't you ever wanted to ask them why?!
With so many people with interesting questions out there, I figured id ask the opinions of some of the Half-Bloods what questions they had and who they'd like to ask them to. Here's what they had to say:
"I'd ask Sally Jackson for her blue cookie receipe!" - Maisie McCoy.
"I would ask Clarisse La Rueise: If you had the chance would you date anyone at camp?" - Rory Van Der Vuur.
"I would probably ask Zoë Nightshade why she chose to join the hunt. Sure she was heartbroken and betrayed once, but it makes me wonder if that was the whole reason why. I mean, there's more people out there that could've been her "soulmate" and yet she chose to join the hunt after one heartbreak. I don't know, it just makes me curious." - Willow Astrea.
"I would ask Atlas Cluffe: Why are you calling your goose a duck?" - August Rhodes.
"I'd ask my sisters why they always worry about me when I say that i want to go on a quest, when they're literally the ones who have trained me to kick monster butt!" -Xaden Hance.
"I'd ask Leo Valdez what the best and ultimate way to cause chaos would be. Honestly I just think we'd vibe." - Artem Vasiliev.
"I would ask Hades "Can I pet that dawg?!" (*point towards Cerberus*)." - Caspian Rhodes.
"I wanna ask Athena why she decided making Arachne into a spider was a good punishment...cause it feels more like a punishment to us than her. I mean this respectfully." - Iseul Han.
"I'd honestly ask Lysander about what he thinks of all his staff just to get the tea and some gossip, but I kinda doubt there is any, since everyone is just amazing and friendly." - Eranthe Halley.
"I would ask Argus the 100 eyes dude if when he sleeps does he see the same dream in all of his eyes or does he see like multi angled view of the same scene from every different eye?" - Alouette Rae.
"I would ask Zeus if he can create lightning rhythmically to a song and if so, can he do the frog song?" - Tyche Artemis.
